Can someone point me in the right direction?? I really don't want to drill holes into the bumper, so can someone tell me if there are any good strong adhesive stickers. Any help would be great.

i got mind stuck on the boot with a bit of silicone sealent.

on my last car i had a small sheet of stainless steel with two right angle bends with two holes drilled in one end so it could fit behind the number plate using the same fixing holes, and four holes the other end to fix the council plate.

Options for choice

drill bumper, maybe hurts now but in a few years time won't care

buy plate bracket from taxi mags

fit towbar, get extra socket bracket fitted, screw plate to that

no nails !!! probably pull the bumper off when you want the plate off

number plate adesive pads,

interior mirror stick pads

I have mine on a bracket on the towbar, so when I park up in say supermarket, take off plate, so no one knows its a taxi, and hey no smashed car windows by the thieves loking for taxi goodies

or put the plate in your back window like some do and just wait to be pulled. Why is it a council tempory plate can be fixed inside the vehicle, I was told it was so there is less chance of it getting stolen

i saw a plymouth one a few weeks ago just held on with a couple of plastic zip-ties which appeared to be secured by the closed boot

In Fife out plates are stuck on using stickers. Not sure where they get them from but their fine, my last plate was on five years, although our plates are quite small.

My number plate was on using stickers I got from Halfords, they were OK as well.
