Post subject:  Navigator From Diplomat

We are a Minicab and Courier company in Chingford on the borders of London and Essex. We have a weekly job count in excess of 10,000.

Early last year we switched our computer system from Midas to Navigator. We are pleased to report to any other companies who are thinking of installing a computer system, that we made the right decision.

This has been our best year ever, whilst we look around and see our competitors floundering.

Whilst we have worked hard this year, it has been nice to receive the help and support from the staff at Diplomat, which has been of the highest standard.

Whilst I notice on this forum, other people knocking them and making derogatory comments whilst hiding behind the cloak of annonimity, we are happy to speak to any company thinking of using them and give our help and recommendation.

Please feel free to phone on 020 8524 1111 and ask for either Dave, Rob or Steve.

Rubbish absolute rubbish, diplomat went bankrupt last year owing £100's of thousands of Pounds. Some directors siphoned the money off then went into liquidation. Companies like this don't desreve to survive. If their kit is that good why haven't they advertised in the PHM for the last 4 issues? Why weren't they at Sandown? Look at Companies house register under Diplomat, it says company dissolved. Good stuff from there.

No it's not rubbish, the chap is giving you his opinion of his radio system.

He also gives us contact numbers etc etc.

The fact that they haven't advertised in PHM mean nothing, other than they haven't advertised in PHM.

Perhaps it would have been nice to see them at Sandown, but they weren't.

If some companies have a history that's not perfect, then fair enough. But we have gone over the Diplomat story if not on TDO, then forever on TTF2.

But I think posters on TDO also want to know how good the system is in giving work out to the drivers, or not as the case may be.

Do you know what one of the best things there is, maybe the only good thing, about being an administrator?

No it's not the bit about being able to delete or amend posts, not even the massive illusion of grandeur at having such a lofty position :? :? , but the fact that you can check on people's IP address to see if they post under more than one name.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Sure could Tom, with Diplomats track record who can blame people for slagging them off.

Although "People" may be slagging us off I see very few of our customers slagging us off.
This is why we have a completely open customer forum.

This is how we develop our products quickly and effect customer driven changes quickly.

I see no other supplier brave enough to do that.

Why don't you guys visit our forum or even contribute.
We may both learn something.

I did notice that Cabmaster has/had some sort of forum.

However as they didn't promote it, it's as dead as a dodo. :?
