Im looking for a solution that records inside and out side out vehicle.
I tried one of the ones that goes over ya mirror which was ok in day but crap at night and also microphone was crap.
Would really like to find something that ticks all the boxes.

I'm looking at this one, I've been quoted £300 plus Vat, supplied and fitted, has anyone got one? It looks a cracking piece of kit.

Looks a nice piece of kit Mark, I've taken the plunge on the Novus, I checked first with Tradex, they confirmed my insurance discount, the girl did state the Novus ruby 150 HD dual lens, tamper proof is theirs and Westminster's preffered choice, we'll see how it goes :D

Yes it has infra red, I've also got lights rigged up to my meter, when I press stop the front and rear light up very brightly.

It has an internal on/off Audio switch, here in Scotland the Law states no Audio allowed with exception in case of an emergency, Mine will be switched off, some in the trade are looking for a CCTV camera that allows for an external Audio switch that could be used in an emergency, the Ruby does have an emergancy button though but being switched off won't record Audio.
