Although they use a multi network sim the the devices are not set up to roam.. its actually pointless having a multi network sim in a device that doesn't do the job for you...
Richard, you know thats wrong.
What APN are you using?
Having sat in meetings at both O2 and Vodafones HQ, discussing roaming sims, it would never work in the taxi market. Im disappointed you claim "your sims" can work any differently. They wont.
Youve done your advertising peace, job done?
For a sim to roam, it MUST lose connection completely not just the data element. This doesnt happen alot.
Once that happens it must communicate with the international systems somewhere in europe. It gets authorisation, then the sim can roam to another network, only ones that are programmed into the sim, not the device. Brilliant.
In all that time, its probably fixed back to its normal network.
Static CCTV etc, it works a treat. On a moving device, in 8 or 9 minutes, you can cover what, up to 9 miles. How many zones?
Clearly Autocab have had enough of the so called claims, as theyre not pushing the roaming sim any more.
