Hi, good to read the forum. we are going though the voice to data issues at the moment. looks like aurgia is the one. We have 30 cars/vans.
Issue: won't be using RF but CDMA, due to mountainous area in NZ.
does anyone have experience or info on CDMA / aurgia over mobile network.
Issue: go for Evo 3 or the smaller based system. Have seen Evo3 but seems over kill for 30 cars.
Issue: What is the helpdesk like: value ? skills ?
Issue: Integration of Database and financial systems, for accounts etc.
Issue: Has anyone managed to outsource parts or functions of there system to create revenue. Or have multiple companies on same hardware / site

hear from yous soon

Hi

It will be interesting to see the Auriga system over CDMA with the CT3000/CT4000 units.

When you say the other system do you mean the older Sirius System that Auriga run?

I know of a lot of companies who use the Auriga helpdesk and views are mixed.

As for linking other systems in, your talking about beauros or something similar. As far as I know Auriga does not have this function on the system like Sigtec or Raywood.

For 30 cars I would consider a system that uses GPRS rather than radio if you have good coverage within your operating area.

Radioman: thanks for the reply,
when I say 'smaller system' : works on 2 PC's rather than full blown server with 6 drives in air con room etc.
Also: when working in with 'other systems" I mean sage or quick books for doin the accounts and such like.

Hi Dave

You may find GPRS to be more responsive than CDMA, is this an option?

Hi
I would go for the smaller system and expand as/when required. Auriga old system had a facility called "POST TO SAGE" which gave you the ability to produce a file with your account jobs which could be imported into SageLine50
