One for the dispatch systems boffins! Can an Auto cab system be set up to dispatch incoming hires to either Hackney drivers with a separate set up to dispatch to P plate drivers, as in if using in full auto mode will it split the hires between both sets of drivers ....... just how good is this system ! |

It can dispatch based on vehicle or driver type, whats the actual reason for splitting the work to give it to a hack or none hack vehicle. Whats the scenario? |

Not sure about the older systems, but the very latest system has more bugs than a pile of horse sh** on a summer's day. |

I suppose it depends whether a mixed hackney / private hire firm work at the same rates for phone bookings in which case it really doesn't matter. Where the charges are different then they just become a different vehicle type i.e. Saloon or Hackney-Saloon each with their own rates. Where this is the case, whether or not a customer will accept a hackney is down to the operator asking if they'll accept a hackney. Bill
