Yorkie I think you have done the Diplomat bit to its limit and past it.

What we have managed to ascertain is it a a company given a new personna after being called Ace Communications (mind you such a naff name needed changing) and since then it is a long way behind with posting its first accounts as Diplomat (9 months next week).

Now we are all free to make our own judgements. You have made yours, Andy7 has made his and I guees I have made mine.

Lets give it a break now.

Mr Yorkie, I don't think I'm protecting anyone.

I believe you have got your views on Diplomat, across many times.

However when posters keep posting anon, those at the other end of the criticism haven't got a clue who has criticized them. Therefore they can't really defend themselves, if they haven't got the full picture.

Saying this person or that person is at it, isn't really fair, unless you come up with concrete evidence.

Just posting a six word message saying 'don't trust them their at it', gets us nowhere.

Andy7, is trying out the system, if he comes back and says that system is crap, then that will stay on the site, as it will if he says it great.

I can understand your frustration, but why not put on a sandwich board and walk up and down their stand at the next taxi show.

Sorry if it offends some of you but it is doing very well. I beleive Navigator now has more end users than any other booking and despatch package in the UK.

As far as when we file our accounts at companies house!!
I cannot even answer this question. This is entirely down to our accountants. However if you check out similar competitor companies you will find their accounts are outstanding for a similar amount of time. I think this is quite normal so nothing to get too stressed about.

I do hope no one is suggesting that my postings on the subject of Navigator are biased in Diplomat's favour by my having any connection with them. I am trying to be factual with my statements, and give an honest opinion and appraisal of the product from the point of view of a small operator.

Of the people, I can only say that to me, all of the Diplomat people I have spoken to, have all been very helpfull without exception.

If I was of the mind to, I suppose I could give my history of all the other suppliers I have had contact with, in an equally honest manner. But, as I am afraid it would be quite derogatory in some respects, I will refrain to going into too much detail about lying salesmen, and seven month waiting periods to even get replies to initial enquiries. I could say that two suppliers told me that I was "too small" one supplier was trying to sell me a system that only accounted in US dollars, while three suppliers have not even bothered to reply to my initial enquiries, other than giving me mobile phone numbers to call, as Mr X, Y, or Z, is "out" at the moment.

Can't see that Diplomat Data Systems Ltd filing of their accounts would be particularly helpful.

Might not Windowview's and the former Midas accounts be the most interesting? Which Company was actually the partnership?

Even then, how do we measure success these days, in financial terms, or moral ones?

I measure my success in how happy I am. Which, is usually best measured on a Friday night around 11.30pm.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to Telford. Make mine a Chicken Salad sandwich please. Chicken being the operative word, as I try and refrain from making derogatory remarks about people unless I can myself substantiate such remarks. Litigation is best undertaken as an observer. It's cheaper that way.
