Nothing bad to tell, we've had it just over 2 years, and providing it's set up correctly, it works very well. There is a lot involved with the set up and the time really has to be invested there. Just to add to the above, we actually dealt with iCabbi in Ireland, we got in with them before Mercury became re-sellers for them. |

How I'm looking at it, it's too feature rich for what we need it for and for our volume of calls. |

No system will reach its full potential until it's set up correctly. We tweaked ours for 3 months until we were all completely happy. |

Intermittent spinning 'working on it' icon - not due to signal reception. The constant full volume beeping every time theres a message or job or bid. The number of times you have to restart the PDA because its frozen. The times when its just not working for no apparent reason. THE NON STOP BEEPING !! |

And they charge you, was pen and paper and a radio ever that bad? |

I can honestly say that we don't have these problems, but as I've mentioned it is all down to how the system is set up, and looking at several of your gripes, they seem to be related to PDA/signal issues not the iCabbi system. Do you have the system directly from iCabbi or from Mercury? We have zero problems with the PDA's as we get drivers to supply their own and even the cheapest £70 handsets work perfectly. As regards the beeping, turn the volume down, oh and you can determine how many notification beeps the driver receives, as I say, It's all about the setup, iCabbi show you how to do it, they don't do it for you!! |

ok... ref icabbie can it be set to put jobs to certain cars, types of cars or designated cars or would feeding require operator intereference? any ideas if it - on auto - keeps cars in certain plots or favours certain plots, or would it send work to next car waiting? for the 1st month it was fine/fair.... seems its been hacked by the budgies now |
