Hi fellas.
Just wondering which, in your experience is the best Navigator to use in London ( If there's any; readind some comments here doesn't sound like)?
I was thinking to buy the TomTom500.

Master atlas of greater london if you do not already know :wink:

These navigtion thingie are fine outside London but they simply can not keep up with the changes in the centre quick enough.

One of my drivers had some package which took him with a punter on board the wrong way down a one way street :oops:

More trouble than they are worth I would say.

Ok for outside London, and Ok inside London If you know your way around, here begs the question if you know your way around In London then why do need this :?:

go for it its the best sat nav out there, had mine for over 1 year no problems and has got me to where I wanted to go and back again, even to the south of France, the 500 is also a hands free phone if your mobile has blue tooth :mrgreen:

TT mobile 5 for smartphone is brill, it's always with you on your phone!
Wouldnt drive a fare to London if it was DOUBLE with a free CAR included!

Thanks for the replies, fellas.
Since I started as PHD just 10 days ago, and I know only my area (Woolwich, greenwich, charlton, plumstead; ie... south east London), I'll buy either TomTom500 or XDA Sony. Regarding The Knowledge, I'll get there in 5-10-50 years maybe. :roll:

Dont think I need to pay £1.00 per minute to find out I am lost though :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

That never happens to me 23 years motor cycle courier in central London before Chauffering, the Knowledge would be a piddle for me, but given a choice, which I have, I would rather ferry around nice people in nice shiney Merc than run around in one of those noisy uncomfortable box's they call Taxi's :wink:
