I am currently in the process of setting up my own taxi office. I will initially be working by myself through the use of call divert.

Now when the time comes I would like to employ a part time receptionist and some part time drivers to help the work and business grow. The business will be run from an office as close to the town centre as I can afford but it will not have any walk in trade, just internet bookings and phone work.

What I would like to ask is what is the best initial way to proceed with equipment? Is it best to get some new or second hand radios or is it best to go for a GPRS system? I would most definetly prefer GPRS and have had a look at the Cordic system which I think looks good, but as a new start up money will be very tight.

Anyone got any thoughts and help??
