Looking for some advice..........I am about to start PH. I have a Vectra that I will be using for this, does anyone know what, if any meters can fit into the dashboard of a Vectra? I am aware that i may have to remove the radio/CD player. Does anyone have a meter mounted into the dash of their Vectra along with a Radio/CD player if so which manufacturer and model is it. |

i ran a vectra a few years back fitted with a digitax meter. if i remember correctly the meter was fitted down near the ahstray, cant remember whether we did away with the ashtray or not, but it worked fine without removing the radio. On the point of the radio i think the pulse for the meter was actually taken from the radio wires somewhere as when the car increased/decreasded speed the radio volume adjusted itself. |

Not sure what year vectra you have. If MkI, taxi meter can be mounted infront of center air vents, low down on cup holders either infront or remove cup holders and fit meter in the hole, or remove the music radio and fit a cygnus MR400 with cassette braket. Speed pulse either rear of stereo, or behind fuse box, bunch of cables I think from memory blue wire with red trace. Regards, Press2Talk |
