warrington have been running it now for 2 months and its quite a nice little package all in all a few problems we've had is advanced bookings getting changed or canceled and we don't know who's got the call in first place so its hard to notify the driver our soultion is we only take advanced bookings for out of town jobs and aiports now

fixed? if you mean can drivers be fed the answer is no you all log into a computer which orders you according to who has had the least amount of calls the calls you recive are directly from the custtomer no operators are involved so its impossible to be fed!

I took enough work off the phone last saturday to pay for one years membership of taxi-call. Any owner driver, of a TAXI (as opposed to PH) out there who is not considering this low cost system are really out of their minds. £3 a week. what have you got to lose? and they can do zoning now... www.taxi-call/info stop faffing around, and give it a go, all you need is a mobile phone, and you already have a computer, or PM me. Me? I love it, taking work back from PH. :D :D :D

Well I have just signed up 12 Hacks to start with this on Friday so i will report back in a week or two.

I have also fitted each cab with a talkthrough radio to enable a driver who may be too far away in miles (or traffic) to request a different closer vehicle rather than dismiss the call.
Total package around £12 per week per cab.

Week one. No problem with the "taxicall" part of the system other than a bit of driver error. A bit of tweaking with the radios, a fairly good system for very little cost.
