any info for tracking cars at a sensible cost maybe using sim card data, etc?

We use simplytrak in the cars and our booking system tracks the drivers phone whilst logged on.

I bought a unit for about £37 that I use with a Tesco £10 pay as you go sim. I have it set so it basically sleeps but if I text a code to it, it’ll send back its location. Doing it this way the battery lasts about 2 to 3 months and I’m still of the original £10 sim three years on. If you need the thing running all the time, then it’ll use data rather than text so you’ll need a different sim and the battery life will probably be only about a day or so.
