 Post subject: in car cctv cameras

I was wondering if anyone on this forum is using cctv cameras in cars or where i could get these things? ive had 2 drivers robbed at knife point last week & i would be gratefull if u let me know where i could purchase these

Well I suppose the market in this kind of thing is pretty small at the moment - if more drivers got it then presumably the price would come down a bit.

I got a little 'lens only' from tandy for £20 last year, its not connected to anything as, of course, the system has to be one approved by the PCO to which you have no access.

It does the trick though, the LTDA gave out CCTV stickers last year, so it seems to convince people you have a pukka system installed.

The thing that worries me about cctv in our cars is although it might identify the thief/runner/assulter, what happens when they get caught? feck all!!! :evil:

I have just started out selling these Cameras and I'm quite sure they cannot be bought cheaper anywhere. Cheapest I found was £470 for the same Camera!!!! Mine only £199.
