I was wondering if anybody is using this technology to take calls? from what i have been led to believe is that all out of area numbers you have diverted to your office can be diverted to a ip number and you do not incur the divertion costs also their apparently are no line rentals or call charges so all you pay is a fixed fee for the ip phone system & also for every number you have coming thru ur ip will give you 16 channels for each number on the facts & figures i have been given show i could save about 75% on phone bills is this to good to be true? or is anyone here using this :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Only problem is reliability, the last thing you want is your internet connection going down and losing all your lines.

True the internet connection going down is a concern but from what i have been told this technology is being used for all the major call centres that are based as far away as India & this technology is why they can locate so far away & still keep their call costs down also u can still leave ur normal phone system in & it still lets u divert back to that system if u lose ur internet connection for a long period
