anybody have views on diff sat navs . I am tempted by garmin 310 full postcode bluetooth mp3 but tom tom seem to have name. garmin reduced to 300 pounds down 200

Your right but the tomtom is easyer to use and has speed cams

Because it's being superceeded by the 610/660 with bluetooth for handsfree phone, which is why I now have it, free trafficmaster, very good. Garmin is the one for me, now I'm roaming further afield, (taxi-call) also fixed and mobile speed camera locations, hospitals, hotels, etc, etc. 660 at £399 is expensive but worth a look.

All tom toms have come down in price, the best is the tom tom 510 it has a larger screen and nearly everything a driver needs and at £299.99

Post codes and all points of interest are already installed on tom tom, you can even add your own.

As is Garmin. Just downloaded more extras too. Text messaging, etc. Good bluetooth for handsfree calls. My choice.
