What are your opinions on the vauxhall Vectra 1.9dcti and what problems are there, and is anyone running the automatic one

Not sure if that's the new engine or not, but two of my mates had Vectra diesels when they came out and will never have them again. :sad:

It is the new 1.9 engine Sussex it came in in 2004, the old one was a 2.2 that drank more oil than diesel

terry unless skoda has made a bullet proof gear box in the last 2 years no way, I want a car that can go more than 100k without have to replace the major components that cost an arm and a leg to do so

vectras are very cramped yes and mine started to become very worn and shabby looking fast as a taxi cosmetic wise

Heavy hit for new tyres £110 plus. Clutch gone at 70k £650 plus time off road. New brakes every 20k. Nice wee badge in the middle of steering wheel though :wink:
