| Post subject: | Winter Tyres |
My school run takes me into rural parts of Sussex with narrow lanes and mud-strewn roads from farms. I thought it might be a good idea to fit winter tyres so as to get max traction and braking in adverse conditions. I've had very little luck in getting any sort of sensible quote or availability. My tyre size is 205/55x16, 91V. Any suggestions welcome. |

If it's M+S (mud and snow) tyres you are considering, bear in mind they are made with a chunky tread pattern and a much softer rubber. They wear out quickly when used on tar roads, and reduce your MPG. |
