Hi,

I am Simon from Stoke on Trent, i have been taxi(PH) driving for around 1 month, only part time as i still have my current job.

I have a question to ask.

Last Friday i went through a 'taxi & bus' lane and got stoped by a taxi warden to tell me that they are only for use bu Hackney Cabs, is this true? if so anyone know why?

It could well be true. Why not ask your council for a copy of the traffic order relating to the bus lanes.

If PH are excluded then contact your local PH reps and ask them why they have allowed this to be.

If you haven't got a PH rep or association/union, then start one up yourself. I suspect there are a few on here who would give you a few tips?

Make that the second question you ask the council when you ring them.
