Hi,

I'm currently 22 (23 in two weeks) and licensed as private hire in my own car (Ford Mondeo 2008) Just wondering if anybody knows of any insurance companies that would take me on?

I have had a full drivers licence for 5years, and have driven PH for 2 without any points or claims. As of now I am paying £150 per week via a broker in Liverpool (the only ones to even consider taking me on), but I'm hoping due to me turning 23 more doors will open?
The broker I'm with now has told me to expect a £22 decrease come my birthday..

Cheers

Is there anyway you can get on a fleet policy with the firm you work with?

No, unfortunately they only rent out company cars to a select few and so I've been told their minimum age is 30+ :(

Try UK insurance solutions, 01353 775 114

Although not quite extreme, I'm 29 and I have a 24 year old named driver and I pay 2k per year.

150 a week is a [edited by admin]! Work must be brilliant round your way to warrant paying that.
