Anyone got any history or could suggest the best settle cars in merseyside? There are quite a few.

I'm just starting out as a private hire taxi driver, so trying my hands at the job first before I think about getting my own vehicle to use.

I'm 21 years old with 4 years no claims.

your NCB will probably be lost, at age 21 your insurance will be higher than a high thing on St Highs day

if you rent a car you will find the owner gets a big extra to pay to cover you

You have failed test one. You already call private hire a taxi.
At age 21 you may struggle to find an insurance company to insure you as a Private hire driver for less than a kings ransom.

You need to find a settle car owner that will allow you to get your own insurance, this will probably be on a weekly payment so will cost a little more than a monthly payment one. I know a driver that is as young as yourself and his insurance is £8,000 but I don't think he had much by way of ncb on his insurance. What area of Merseyside are you going to be working?
