Managed to haggle it down to £818!! Uk based company (ERS) with protected NCB. I never thought I’d see it below £1,000 again. |

Just renewed mine: 2020: £700.72 ![]() 2021: £670.48 ![]() 2022: £850.43 ![]() Knew last year's was an outlier, and thought it was maybe related to lack of claims in the industry during lockdown. Had totally forgotten it was only £700 in 2020, though, but presumably that was related to lockdown as well. So up a good bit this year, but that's more like what I was paying in the years prior to lockdown, and think I've been over £900 once or twice. So up a couple of hundred pounds this year, but in the grand scheme of the trade it's not bad, and it's still comfortably below the maximum I've paid ![]() |

Car insurance in - last year £447, this year £306. I'll be happy if the cab insurance does the same... |

I just did a quote check for the car my youngest drives, and he has no no-claims as it's my other car, he is just named on it. I got a price back for him fully comprehensive with no no-claims at £550 which amazed me. Hopefully, he will now be able to claim his own no-claims. |

Back in July, the cab insurance broker said premiums were nuts and they should fall back. I thought it was flannel at the time but here's hoping. |
