My company has spent the past 2 years developing software specifically for Taxi Drivers and Private Hire/Chauffeur operators. It is basic accounting software that is easy to use but comprehensive. It allows users to record journeys, expenses, payments in and payments out. It also allows monthly invoices to be sent to account customers. The emphasis has been to keep it as simplistic as possible, whilst still performing most of the functions required by taxi drivers and private hire/chauffeur operators etc. We are finalising the web site (www.phatsoft.co.uk) and when it is complete, anyone will be able to download a 30-day trial version. The cost of a full license will be just £25 ex VAT. We anticiapte that this software will be highly useful to taxi drivers etc. and we will be working on version 2 to work on a pda fairly soon.
