Alright guys?! I finally got the letter through to get my PH badge next monday (25th June) and I've got a car/radio all lined up. Here comes the tricky bit...What do i need to do in terms of keeping record of my earnings/expenses. Also how long do i have to inform 'the man' that I'm self employed. I'd also appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of a Glasgow based taxi accountant. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated as i'd prefer not to learn things the hard way. Cheers |

Pitts taximeters in Nottingham do an accout book that is quite good for keeping records. I am sure they will post you one. I would inform the tax man immediatly and don't forget to pay your national insurance. The basic contribution is only around £2.25 a week. |
