Just had a really good quote from a company called TaxiElite. They are part of Milestone insurance. Has anybody on here heard of or dealt with this company? I've never heard of them myself, but they have given me a very good quote, £7,000 cheaper than ChoiceQuote.

ChoiceQuote: £9,800

TaxiElite: £2,600

Got my badge a couple of months ago, but I've only just got the money together to get started. Being only 23 I expected the insurance to be high but nearly 10 grand was taking the mick.

Any comments on Milestone/TaxiElite will be very welcome.

Thanks guys

All i can say is that Milestone have been around for a while now.I was once on a one of their policies about 15 years ago and they were value then.

One thing i cannot comment on is the claims side of them as i was fortunate not to have any claims against me.

The taxi centre does it as well £512, but thats with 27 years NCB but they give good discounts for new drivers
01418476999
or Paton's on 01415534000
I think there are a few more on this sites main page
If you have any NCB on your own private car you can use that as well to bring the price down
