How many of you use your 'work vehicle' for your own private use?

Do the insurance companies and LA's allow it?

Just thinking that this could effect my choice of vehicle :)

As long as the vehicle is driven by a licensed driver and the plates etc. are in place then it can be driven for private use. Your insurance will state something along the lines of "use for social, domestic and pleasure and use for public or private hire."

Plenty of illegals will be willing to pay for the crossing.

I do sometimes, though the less mileage i do privately the bigger the percentage of its running costs i can claim through the business...hence we have a vehicle solely for private use.
