Cars like that I'd worry about stuff like servicing and warranty, and getting parts etc, because they presumably won't have an extensive and established dealer network, and sourcing parts might be difficult.
I remember when Kia first appeared on the scene about 25 years ago and one of the local drivers got one, and was off the road for a while because he couldn't get a warranty repair because of a lack of parts.
Had a close shave even with my new model Passat, which had a known problem with the sender fuel pump beside the tank (or whatever it's called), and because of the amount of failures there was a bottleneck with parts. I was lucky because when mine failed the VW dealer took a pump off a car in the showroom and put it on mine to get me on the road again
But it's all the usual brochure/showroom thing vs the reality, and that's why I've stuck with VW group cars. But even servicing and stuff is difficult with my Skoda, because the nearest dealer is 25 miles away
