So is ours and the first aid kit, safest place for the extinguisher you dont want it to suddenly come loose and jam your peddles or a punter grabs it and Malkys you over the head

We are in the process of abolishing fire extinguishers............ the advice from the fire brigade..... who are the experts and should know...... is not to tackle a car fire .

And as for first aid kits.... that is definitely a no-no.... imagine if a person became infected by the contents of that kit.... I could see a big lawsuit ... which in turn would be directed at the council..... stupid conditions made by stupid licensing officers ...

We were told that the extinguisher is there to be used if the passengers need a bit more time to get out the car. They are not intended to put fires out. (no where near big enough)

This is a rather belated update to all 'preceding' comments!

MR T the first aid kit is for your own personal use, health and safety at work act nineteen canteen, not for your punters

That is not what our LA tell us. They tell us that although we may not be trained to use the contents, there may be someone present at an incident who is trained to use the contents.

I'm not trained as a firefighter or a first aider and as such wouldn't use either. (on advice from my insurers a few years back)
