I need a new cab and the company that I work for requires the vehicle that I use at least a 58 plate onwards vehicle. Is it worth going for a decent car like a mondeo, octavia or superb with intergalactic mileage or bag a new car direct and on finance.

I do both Hack and PH work with some contracts and airport runs thrown in for good measure so i need a vehicle with chinese gymnastic flexibility and german shotputter build and reliability.

New one on finance, with as short a period as you can afford i.e. defo no more than 4 years.

Also look to see who is giving the best warranty.

Cheers, I've been looking at a kia optima, something a little different and quite a nice place to be, other than that a peugeot 5008 looks pretty tempting too. Just a question of reliability i guess and jumping into the unknown because it seems that one on the forum has either.

Skoda Superb estate reliable with mega room 2ltr tdi manual
Look on auto trader using nationwide distance to give you more choice.
Or the taxi centre where you can get a brand new one delivered to your door

We have a pug 5008. It is now just coming up to a year old and has around 27,000 miles on it. So far it has been no trouble, all we had had to do is change the tyres recently. The fronts were low so we changed them and put them on the back and the back ones were changed for winter tyres and put on the front and the 2 that were taken off have been kept to go back on next summer.

We never had a problem last year. Maybe our brakes don't work.
