We are currently trying to turn the fleet into a Skoda fleet, the Taxi Center look after us well. Last week we had 6 Skoda Superbs delivered from Glasgow on time, 4 year warranty, full tank of Fuel on each car, can't fault them keep up the good work guys.

Four year warranty, I like the sound of that. :D

Is that standard, or just because you bought half a dozen?

I bought a car from the Taxi Center, as did a mate. He has had nothing but problems with his gearbox :( , I've had none. :D

The Taxi Center do deal with you well, but lets face it, if you are spending £10-15,000 on a car, or £80-90,000 on half a dozen, they bloody well should.

Oh, one other thing. I hope your local Skoda dealer is better than ours, cos they are crap, with crap fitters. :(

Hi Andy, all the Superbs came with a 4 year warranty, we had a couple of Octavias with gear box problems as did many across the UK, I heard it was a fault with them. The superbs are a great car loads of room, economical, the drivers and customers love them. Thinking of getting one myself they are that good.

My Superb has done 20.000, no problems so far. My previous Octavia had the usual gearbox problem.

i also mentioned that they had failed to pay for the seat belts to be replaced and for someone to try & solve the problem of continual heat into the passenger section
also the promissed compansation for late delivery

Well, not as good as yours it appears. Four years seems to be too good to be true. What type of warranty is it?

The purchase price was £13,250 with 2 years unlimited with optional third year for £500. My Octavia had three years unlimited. However, I dont intend to keep the Superb for more than 2 and a half years.

I normally get a new vehicle every three years.... however...with certain possible changes on the horizon I may have to consider my finances if I am having to wait for longer on the ranks with our share of the 15000 proposed new cabs coming!

Hi Scanner, we got 2 years + 2 years for £650.

Thats a pretty good deal... did you have to pay the 650 up front. The deal I have been offered leaves the £500 payable at any time up to the last day of the existing warrenty.

It would be great if Skoda did its own version of the VW caravelle or transporter.
