No, this is it.
https://www.teslamotors.com/model3
Pre order only and left hand drive only at the moment. Should be out on the roads in the States late 2017 but unlikely to be available here for at least 2 years after that.

That is not how it would work. You don't buy the car in the states. You will buy the car through the British Tesla dealership.
Not forgetting that if you buy through Tesla you get all the extra benefits like free charging points. If you take your Tesla to the airport to go on holiday, Tesla will pick the car up for you and store it whilst you are away and meet you upon return with your car fully charged. The cost for this service is also FREE.

I bet......

Every major manufacturer has a real, proper, viable leccy car tested and on standby, family sized cars with a good range, pure leccy, either battery alone or fuel cell, waiting for the day the oil runs out, why arent they releasing them?...

compared to petrol/diesel engines a leccy motor is simple to produce....GEC make em by the million, half the forklifts in the country are leccy, the DIY leccy cars use FL motors a lot, we are being taken for mugs

Took delivery of the new Prius today. Very impressed so far. We picked it up in Manchester and drove it home. We have had a bit of a run around tonight to see how the lights are, they are very good. Fuel consumption so far is, according to the car, 78.5 MPG.

because the main market is business users and petrol heads who aren't interested in a car that can't do the distance

i decided to take a punt on the new prius.. havent put it to work yet still waiting for plates, but having been taking it for a run here and there.. i had 70mpg avg on a run today on the motorway A roads... through bristol pretty conjested seems to work good... loads of 20mph were i am... so i shall see how it goes... you can even drop it in to EV mode on themotorway doing 65-70mph.. when you are up to 70mph on the motorway.. take your foot of the accelrater and it will drop in to the EV area.. back on the gas and you have it in Ev..

The new prius sits lower than the gen 3.. yeh seems plenty of room... big boot... seems to handle alright better than my pug partner WAV... if you want more info on the pruis have a look on the priuschat forum.. gives you an idea what MPg people are getting...

They do a hybrid Toyota Auris Touring (estate) with a similar drivetrain to the Prius.

You can also get the Prius as a 6 passenger car.
