Chance to design cabs of the future Coventry-based cab maker LTI Vehicles has laid down a challenges for local school children and students - to design a taxi for the future. LTI Vehicles, based in Holyhead Road, is calling on budding designers to create a 21st century taxi. The black cab has recently been voted as one of Britain's greatest tourist attractions. The "Design a Taxi" competition will be divided into three age categories 8-11, 14-16, 16- 18. The deadline for entries is December 10. All school children and students within the Coventry and Warwickshire region are elligible to enter the competition. Prizes include £700 worth of electrical equipment for the winning schools plus additional prizes. |
