One of my buddies (yes I do have some :wink:

) had a test drive of the new VW Caravelle, at Sandown. The lad was quite pleased, and it's nearly certain he is going to buy one.

Anyway, when you have a drive around, one of the first things you ask is how much? The salesman said that nothing was set in stone yet, as they have only just come in the country, but gave my buddy a rough estimate of between £22,000 and £24,000, with the taxi discount.

My buddy rang up BM the other day to double check the price and availability, to be told it was now going to be in the region of £27,000.

Now that's what you call inflation.

Now that's what you call inflation. obviously the taxi discount has not transpired. seriously though 2 prices is not unknown, I went on a job last night and it cost £35, they said my rivals had quoted £25, why didnt you go with them said I? they couldnt do it I said when we couldnt do it it was only £10 beware of quotations.
