Hello all. I'm thinking about buying a new ish car to run as a p/h taxi. I'm very tall so room in the rear is always going to be an issue. Just looking for Alittle advice if possible as to what would work out best for me

Room for the driver and back seat passengers = Skoda Superb.

They may insist on something rather newer if it's "new" to the ph trade. Skoda Octavia has lot of leg room too.

5 year limit on new plates here and has to go off the road after 10. Neighbouring la has no restrictions. See loads of mid nineties cars smoking around, one taxi on rank was h reg. Subject to more regular tests though I believe.

Anything under 10 years here now they've had a change of heart, unless of course you're a taxi then it's under 3 on first reg and purpose built wav. Now that's what I call a result for the ph :D
