| Post subject: | Stop/Start Technology On New Cars |
Does anyone run a car with the new Stop/Start Technology ? Do you have it switched on or off ? Do you think it's worth the extra wear n tear on the Starter Motor & other engine parts for the amount of fuel it saves ? |

Stop stat technology is nothing new, I had an omega years ago with a duff idle control valve. Every time I stopped at a junction it would cut out ! (Early vectra's did the same)

didnt know id got it i do now TBH i dont do much town work, usually 100 miles a day contract steady run... |
