When they build one half the size (i.e. Octavia) with 500 mile range at about £20K the fun will start

If they did then I might have one...Problem that we are going to have up here Scotland is the nut jobs that run the Scottish Parliament want to close our Nuclear Power stations and all Coal fired Power stations and run the place on Wind, troubles is we'd have to carpet Scotland with Wind turbines and add to that a drop in the wind and we will all be powerless.........Clowns!!

I can imagine asking our LA about a NILcc engine size....

it only needs the rear converting into a cab

wrong way round in afraid....

only needs a 2 cylinder LPG engine driving a good generator to charge batteries and run the big leccy motor, and an auto box...

Quote:
Power comes from an innovative hybrid drivetrain made up of a small electric motor and a four-cylinder engine that runs on liquid petroleum gas (LPG). Full technical details won’t be announced until Toyota engineers fine-tune the drivetrain in order to make it more durable and smoother to drive in stop-and-go traffic.
