DPF filter £1000
Diesel pump £1000
Injectors £1200
And so. Over £6000 in servicing and repairs last year
Trouble started once it hit 150.000
Touch wood its doing well at the moment
High mileage cars will always need repairs
I run down tank at least once a month and put in V power diesel, I give it a good clean regularly, I lubricate all round including the step, I'm surprised at the £1000 for DPF, my last E7 needed that, cost £400, good all round taxi though, it'll be sadly missed if there isn't an option to renew, £42k for an M8 and over £40k for a TX is not going to happen for me, hopefully they get the problem with conversion sorted.
If our council get their way with the age limit that they will be discussing next month, we won't have a choice.
