i bought one of these brand new on a 53 plate, it has been 100% reliable, excellent on fuel(30 mpg around town, 47 mpg on a run)it drives lovely, and there is nothing i would change about it.
now the bad news, the gearbox syncro went at 75000 miles and was fixed under warranty. syncro went again at 80000 miles and was again fixed under warranty, syncro went at again at 85000 miles so i contacted customer services who have now sent it to a different dealer who are fitting, a new gearbox, new clutch, full service and cambelt free off charge. if you buy one and have problems-go straight to customer services, thier brilliant. i know another cab driver who has one on a 53 plate and has done 185000 miles and not had a single problem!!

A classic case of your mate getting the one made on a Monday morning, and you kopping the Friday afternoon one.

Update, gearbox went wrong AGAIN 2 week's before christmas, hyundai fixed it, but I told them I don't want it anymore, they took it away, but I have just recieved a letter asking for £5000 for the balance of the finance!! .
I wrote back and told them I would see them in court.
