Hi

Got an e7 on 10 plate. Having problem with the 3 rear facing flip seats. When sitting on them they slope downwards, so passengers feel like they are sliding off them.

Have ordered new seat spring from Cabdirect and fitted them bit they still do the same thing.

Anyone have any ideas what's happening with them? Is there supposed to be stoppers of some sort on the seats which stops them going past 90 degrees?

Thanks

If you do go down that route. Only add a thin peace at a time till you get the right angle. It's not that hard to do. I haven't had a complaint since. Before people always moaned on long runs that the seats were terrible. Bad design next time I will weld in a small bolt so I can wined it out to adjust it as it wares

He didn't ask if YOUR transit seats are comfy
He asked how do you fix E7 flip down seats

Anyone else got any advice on how to resolve this problem? I've also thought about drilling a hole for a bolt on the bottom plate next to the spring, with a nut either side. The bolt could then be adjusted to alter the stopping position. Problem is I'm not sure if the plate is strong enough at that point and may end up bending.
