What CC is the petrol engine? Many councils still have an engine size specified in their policy.

Its not an engine as such, its a generator, for charging the battery

You can call it what you like but I would bet that most councils will only license it if the petrol engine is big enough.

It would completely baffle them. I have tried to get them to change from stating a minimum CC to stating a power rating. Engines have moved on since 1981 when the CC was set by our Council.

I think many councils will allow a smaller engine on a hybrid.

Bit stupid if they don't.
