I am looking at vehicles to put on in Dundee which must be 'Brittish Low Volume Type Approval'. TX11 is out due to cost, doblo is out due to uglyness.

1) The VW Caravelle and Mercedes Vito are an option, but would have to see a conversion of those, which is fairly difficult in this area.

2) The Eurobus, scudo, E7, Eurotaxi, Le Cab Noir etc are probably the easiest to test drive and physically see. Can anyone tell me what are the best and worst of those clones, are they all basically the same or not?

as i will be mainly working at night, i will not be doing any contract work for the disabled, so i am not worried about the ease of dealing with wheelchairs. any help and advice would be greatful.

When the OFT finally sort out this trade of ours, I will be getting one of those two. More than likely the VW.

Perhaps you could go to the Scottish Taxi Show, and have a peep there.

What do you mean doblo ugly.
It is a beautiful car,and you should be doing wheelchair work, that is how the door has been flung open.
The only ones approved at this moment ,is euro bus,E7,doblo txii, and
today a certain Mercedes.

Pays yir money,takes yir choice.

If you hate the Doblo,do not buy, watch the Euro bus, some flack about
this,I would go for the E7,although £23,000,plus interest,probably,pay
£550 per month.
Fees,Insurance,running costs,quite pricey,but hey better than the Doblo,(EH).
See ya on the rank,im the one with the flashy Doblo, with the CD player,
and the sexy chicks.Luv DOOOOOOOOblo Man.

I am appalled, nay flabergasted,by the two of you.
Me a mere mortal, driving the best vehicle ever, being lambasted by Master
railway child and a Guest, the latter with a speech impedement that makes himself post twice, twice.
Come on guys lovely vehicle, roomy, wav, four wheels and a gear stick, classy vehicle for classy boys and girls.
Only stipulation to be the owner and to drive this vehicle, you have to be
good looking, and I suppose as both of you are not,you cannot purchase
one.

But hey guys take out a bank loan,to pay for plastic surgery,go to night school, sorry charm school and guess what, you can join my elite club.

Be cheery,cheerio,DOOOOOOBLO MAN.
