My longest day is around 350 miles.

My average day is 193 miles.

I have a regular argument with phone providers that I don't want a plan that covers my average data usage; I want one that covers my maximum usage.

So far as I can see the top 5 EVs for range are:

1. Tesla Model S - 335 miles
2. Tesla Model 3 - 310 miles
3. Tesla Model X - 295 miles
4. Hyundai Kona Electric - 258 miles
5. Audi e-Tron - 248 miles

The above does not take into account the suitability of the vehicle for the job. It appears to me that there is no vehicle on the market at the moment that would enable me to do a full day's work, with the possibility of a surprise long distance job.

What is the optimum vehicle for range, emissions, London-Labour busting ULEZ, space for four passengers and hand-luggage in comfort? I'm struggling to see what I should be looking at for my next car!

Thought I did some mileage.

The Jag says it does up to 292, and that would be my preference.

What you need, or we all need, is access to super fast chargers. They will recharge 80-90% in 30 minutes.

That will sort you.

 :-s

Some shifts I'd be lucky to do 19.3 miles, at least if only counting metered miles and return to the rank

Even on my longest days I'm quite sure the Tesla Model S would be more than adequate at 335 miles.

In fact if Tesla would like me to do a long-term test of the Model S in real-world taxi conditions I'd be more than happy to help them out :D :-({|=
