And no doubt a bit dearer.

well, as an avid price watcher of superbs vs passats now, id have to say the passats are coming in cheaper than superbs which is nuts

lad paid under £8000 for his 2016 (16 plate) 1.6/6 speed on 45,000 miles with FDSH

Not sure why the link won’t work, anyway, £279 for a remap, 118 to 31 extra BHP and so much more drivable, a friend had it done on his Octavia a few years ago, still has it and loves it. If you buy the hand held unit you can put the map on and off as you please and use it on your next car ( if you stay in the VAG family)

You do can/do get better MPG with a remap. The problem is the power delivery is so much smoother you can find yourself using it (the power) more which can negate any MPG gains. The superchips bluefin is a good way to gain the extra power, and with you usually staying loyal to the VAG marque it’s a good way to remap any future vehicles if you buy the handset yourself.
