Hi All I am from The Taxi Shop. We are a main supplier into the industry and have our own coachworks for conversions such as wheelchair, hackney and royale. The last 2 years have been hard for vehicle availability and prices have been steadily rising including the Trafic and Tourneo is now over £50k from dealer. How long do you think the vehicle manufacturers will be supplying diesel motors than can be converted to taxis? I've spoken to a few dealers and they are very pessimistic. Especially for the smaller WAVs. |

Although I don’t think this is the exact solution , it’s certainly something like this with a modular setup that can be configured to meet different demands that might just work, WAV taxis are such a niche market it’s not worth the big boys getting involved. To be fair. The ones we convert dont rely on being supplied to us for that reason. We are a dealer for certain brands and R&D our own conversions. All we rely on is general availability. Hope that answer satisfies what you meant. FYI I have new 9 Seat Tourneos for reservations now
