I have had mine for a couple of weeks and have had nothing but trouble to numerous to list i am severly p****d about it all and as usual there is lack of communication at cab directs side they were willing to phone you up and ask you to hurry and sign your finance papers and when that got sent back thats when the communication stopped they don't want to know now. If any one is considering buying an E7 think again as there are a lot of complaints about them not being worth the money i should have just put a eurobus or eurotaxi less expensive and a lot less going wrong with them i am one sorry dude like but hey S**T happens what can i say.

Aitch,do not know what has gone wrong, but have Euro7 for two years and apart from the sliding door lock, twice sticking, seems to have been alright.
120,000 on clock no major problems, could not say the same about Metrocab.

Could be that Cab Direct now rushing to capitalise on the new openings for Wavs, are being shoddy with the wormanship.

Mmm now where have I heard this before??? other drivers are in the same boat too with their Mercs, a guy buys a Merc Vito, the electric windows pack up on a airport job, he had the cab for 6 weeks, he went to a Merc dealer and was told to get off the premises. Mercedes no longer classed it as as one of their vehicles as it was converted, so his service agreement was VOID and no dealer would touch it. He had to go all the way to Heartfordshire and was forced into another agreement at further expense with a commercial Mercedes dealer. The electrician repairing it discovered that a non Mercedes window unit had been used and worse still during the conversion ordinary house-type wire had been used to connect it. The electrician had never seen such a bodge job.

These conversions are putting peoples life's at risk.

No the floor hasnt been cut short, what happened is someone was about to fit it and the left over material was short.

so the worker started cutting a new piece and the forman said "what the f*** are you doing?"

"he said cutting a new piece"

" whats up with that end"

"its too short"

"make it fit, we cannot afford all this waste"

that pal became your taxi.

what you should do now is send it back, only by doing this will they learn.

we are too soft with them.

So TXs are pony, E7s are pony, the other van conversions are pony.

Perhaps we should use a pony. :? :?

Right chaps, why dont we all get together and get organised, its no good complaining on hear, the complaints about these vehicles have been on the internet since may2001 to my knowledge.
SO HEARS A THOUGHT

We all get all our faults listed and printed out, we turn up all together at the next taxi show in telford and every person that enters that show are handed a copy of all our complaints, they have got to listen when it starts eating at their profits.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED CALL ME 01777 869869

Its a good idea.
But you are dealing with the taxi/ph trade. :(
It might be an idea for everyone with a problem with motors and radios to go to the show.
The makers wont be able to hide behind a screen or a letter there.
Why not get some t-shirts printed out with your complaints?

i S THIS WHAT YOU WOULD DO IF YOU BOUGHT ANY OTHER FAULTY GOODS?

has anybody told trading standards, or gone through proper proceadure?

I know this is difficult but throwing back [edited by admin] goods and claiming loss of profits is what you should do.

I can see a whole heap of trouble like innocent people (i.e you) being arrested and losing reputation.

I had a lucky escape from cab direct! I was going to buy the E-7 with my vw sharan as part exchange! Till they only offered me £3000! Told them no chance and sold it private for £10,000.
Bought another VW. Cab direct kept calling but soon got the message!
