Ans now,the device to let you run any vehicle on unleaded fuel.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370192019631
And believe it or not there are similar devices sold for £25 or more on ebay.

This one could get you into a lot of trouble under the trades description act. You clearly state that the central core is lead when in fact everyone else knows that it is in fact carbon and if placed in petrol there is a good chance that it could be absorbed into the fuel and thus increase the carbon immisions of the vehicle.

If so,why do they say "This will put lead in your pencil".?.

Think about it, lead is poisonous so it can't be used for anything that could bring it into contact with your digestion system and many people put their pensil into their mouths.

The lead in a pencil is graphite, not lead.

Quote:
Before discussing how the lead is put into the wood casing, let's clear up what the actual lead is. Pencil lead is not lead at all; it's a combination of finely ground graphite and clay, mixed with water and pressed together at high temperatures into thin rods. We call it lead is because the Englishmen who first discovered graphite believed they had found lead.
