 Post subject: Seat belt buckle failed.

One of my seat belt buckles (ie the 'male' part with the release button) won't do up. Vauxhall Vectra c 2004.

Looking around the net, it would appear that that whole pre tensioner assembly is fairly cheap. About £40-50 ish.

Can anyone confirm or am I fooling myself?

It would be nice if it was, 'cos I daren't work until I've got it fixed. :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

What I do is get one from a scrappy, then nip round to a sailmaker, there are loads in Hampshire as there are in Plymouth, and in about 15 seconds they sew it on. Charge about a fiver, add about the same for scrappy, jobs a good'n.
