Can anyone tell me whereabouts the Instrument Stabiliser on my Fairway is? (Item C1, Location 15 in the Workshop Manual wiring diagram)

I would guess a microchip with 3 legs soldered at the back of the instrument cluster. It regulates the voltage to the temperature gauge (D3) and fuel gauge (D4).
