We have a Vauxhall Zafira that has been a bit of a problem for a while with going into limp home mode. It used to clear if you turned the engine off and re started again. recently it got to the stage where it wouldn't clear. We changed the air flow meter a while ago and that helped. The EGR valve was changed a couple of weeks ago because the old one was not working at all but this didn't help. I remember reading on here that you need to check all the vacuum pipes for small holes but we couldn't find any. Anyway yesterday it went back to the garage for another look and under the battery tray there was another little pipe, guess what................... a little hole!!!! The pipe was changed and everything is as it should be now HOORAY!!!

All Modern cars are the Same....they all have so much "Green" electronic techno-trickery built into them with so many save the planet Gadgetry and EGR Valves, Flow meters etc fitted that they break down almost on a monthly basis and cost a fortune to fix..arghhhhhhh!!!

Quote:
10.2. The seating arrangement in ‘People Carrier’ type vehicles will be fixed and approved by the Council. Every seat should have direct access to an exit door, therefore no seat which needs to be tilted, moved or in any way adjusted to gain access to another row of seats will be allowed. The seating will not be moved once the approval has been granted.

10.3. All saloon / estate type vehicles must have a minimum of 4 doors excluding rear doors/tailgate/boot.

10.4. Vehicles capable of carrying more than 4 passengers e.g. people carriers/minibuses and similar type, must have a minimum of 3 doors excluding the rear doors/tailgate/ boot. The third door must be located on the near side of the vehicle to ensure safe access and egress of passengers. There must be sufficient space for luggage whilst still leaving gangways clear and there shall be a suitable restraint available to secure any luggage in the passenger compartment.

That is an interesting one. The front passenger seat in most cars can be moved backwards and forwards. Does that mean that it can't be used because it isn't fixed?

There are no Renault traffic (or same as) plated here, no Galaxy's, and a guy with a Pug 807 had to remove a rear seat to make a 5 passenger PH
