swept the snow off the Superb at 5pm, started her up, wound the windows down, back up....BANG

now the motor is running off the switch (seems ok) but the window is just not 100% shut, and not moving

then at 7pm the school cancelled...

Maybe something jammed in the door/window channel, maybe worth carefully running a screwdriver along the channel to see if somethings got stuck up there.

Too later again.
Ebay - search for 'Skoda superb electric window repair kit'.
Actually £6-£15.

It's not just Skoda, a lot of manufacturers use wires to operate the windows now.

not worth the messing

the whole thing cost £35 inc P&P plus £90 labour, i wasnt gonna feck about with a few wires in the cold

if id only given the garage the repair kit then found out it wasnt going to work id have been in the poo

id almost rather have paid skoda £280 to do it if they had the parts
